What We Do

Brief Background:

MaCPaPRC was created and legally registered in 2019 as a common initiative group for the restoration of the institution of the family roles, norms, values, ethics, functions and conflict resolution. This is because families are bedrock of every given society and when they fall apart, the entire society falls into social and cultural decline. There is a huge gab between parents and children, Parents and teachers, and learners and teachers themselves. If this gab is not bridge as soon as possible, the problems of families might never be resolved. The state of every community is a reflection of the kind of families that exists in homes.

CORE VALUES

Positive Development

This covers a child’s emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Research looks at how parenting practices and counseling interventions can foster healthy development in all these areas

Healthy Relationships
Strong, secure relationships between parents and children, as well as between counselors and clients, are crucial. Research explores how to build and maintain these positive connections
Effective Communication
Clear and open communication is essential in both parenting and counseling. Research examines how parents and counselors can communicate effectively with children and clients
Mental and Emotional Well-being
Both fields address mental health concerns and emotional regulation in children. Research explores parenting practices and counseling approaches that can help children develop healthy coping mechanisms and emotional intelligence
Resilience
Building a child’s ability to bounce back from challenges is important. Research looks at how parenting styles and counseling interventions can foster resilience in children. It’s important to note that cultural background can influence these core values. Parenting and counseling research should consider these differences to ensure best practices are applicable to diverse families and communities
What We Do

Our Areas of Operation

Conscious Parenting Workshops

We organize workshops which are designed to help parents raise their children with awareness and empathy. They focus on building strong, positive relationships between parents and children, and on helping parents understand their own emotions and triggers so that they can respond to their children in a calm and mindful way. Conscious parenting emphasizes the importance of building strong, loving relationships with children. This means spending time with them, listening to them, and being attuned to their needs.

Professional and Career Orientation

This is all about figuring out the right career path for you. It’s a process of self-discovery and exploration to land a fulfilling and successful job in the area of:
  • Self-Assessment:
  • Interests: What are you naturally curious about? What activities do you find engaging?
  • Values: What’s important to you in a job? Is it work-life balance, creativity, helping others, or making a good income
  • Skills: What are you good at? This includes both hard skills (technical abilities) and soft skills (communication, teamwork).

Mental Health in Children

This is just as important as their physical health. It refers to a child’s emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Just like adults, children can experience a wide range of emotions, from happiness and excitement to sadness and anger. However, when these emotions become intense or long-lasting, they can interfere with a child’s ability to function at home, school, and in social settings. Here are some of the signs that a child may be struggling with their mental health:
  • Changes in mood or behavior, such as becoming withdrawn or irritable
  • Difficulty concentrating or learning
  • Changes in sleep or eating habits
  • Excessive worry or anxiety
  • Physical complaints with no medical explanation.
  • Thoughts of suicide or self-harm
If you are concerned about your child’s mental health, it is important to seek professional help. A mental health professional can assess your child’s needs and recommend treatment options. Early intervention is key to helping children with mental health problems. With treatment, most children can go on to live happy and healthy lives.

Benefits of a strong recruitment and selection process
Hiring the right person leads to a more productive and efficient workforce while avoiding bad hires minimizes the costs associated with recruitment, training, and onboarding. A positive recruitment experience fosters a good reputation, attracting top talent in the future.

Recruitment and Selection

R and S are the two fundamental stages of hiring the right person for a job opening. They work together to bring talented individuals into an organization. Here’s a breakdown of each:
Recruitment
  • We create a compelling job description, advertising the opening on relevant platforms, and building a strong employer brand to attract qualified applicants.
  • We may utilize various channels like job boards, social media, employee referrals, or attending career fairs to find potential candidates.
  • We review resumes and cover letters, conducting phone screenings, or using online assessments to narrow down the applicant pool.
Selection
  • At the level of selection, we Shortlist candidates based on predetermined criteria and qualifications, the most suitable applicants are shortlisted for further evaluation.

  • In-depth interviews are conducted to assess a candidate’s skills, experience, and cultural fit for the role and the company. Different interview formats like one-on-one, panel interviews, or case studies is used.

  • At MaQPaCRC we offer skills assessments, personality tests, or reference checks for a comprehensive understanding of candidate’s capabilities and suitability.

  • After careful evaluation, the best candidate is chosen and offered the job. Negotiations regarding salary and benefits may occur at this stage.

Data Collection and Analysis

This is the cornerstones of gaining knowledge and understanding at MaQPaCRC. It’s a two-step process that involves gathering information (data) and then examining, sorting, and summarizing it to extract valuable insights.

You can reach out to us for your schools, organizations and families as guidance counselors are often found in schools and universities. Psychologists, therapists, and social workers are professionals who can provide counseling services. There are also online resources and helplines available for those seeking guidance or counseling.
  • Both guidance and counseling are valuable tools for personal growth and development.
  • Don’t hesitate to seek help if you’re facing challenges or need support.

Guidance and Counseling

They both aim to support individuals in navigating challenges and reaching their full potential, but through different approaches.
At the level of guidance, we focus on providing information and direction. This might involve helping individuals:
  • Choose an academic path (e.g., suggesting relevant courses or majors based on interests and strengths).

  • Explore career options (e.g., providing information on different fields and their requirements).

  • Develop essential skills (e.g., time management, study skills, decision-making).

  • Access resources (e.g., scholarships, financial aid, tutoring services).

At the level of Counseling, We dive deeper into addressing emotional and psychological issues:
  • MaQPaCRC helps individuals with managing stress, anxiety, or depression.

  • Improving self-esteem and confidence.

  • Developing healthy coping mechanisms.

  • Building communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Dealing with life transitions (e.g., breakups, grief, and loss).

  • We offer academic counseling which focuses on academic success and educational planning.

  • Career counseling, which helps individuals explore career options and make informed decisions about their professional path.

  • We provide support for a wide range of emotional and psychological issues and we help individuals improve communication and build healthier relationships.

Family Therapy

This is a form of psychotherapy designed to improve communication, relationships, and overall functioning within a family unit. It focuses on the family system as a whole, rather than just individual members.
  • We address specific challenges faced by the family, such as mental health issues, substance abuse, or conflict.
  • We strengthen family bonds and create a more supportive home environment.
  • MaQPaCRC Help families adjust to life transitions, such as divorce, blended families, or the loss of a loved one.
Family Therapy

Our sessions typically involve all immediate family members living in the same household. In some cases, extended family members or close caregivers may also be included.

A therapist facilitates the conversation, guiding discussions and activities that help family members understand each other’s perspectives and develop healthier ways of interacting. Family therapy is a collaborative process that requires commitment from all involved. With consistent effort and guidance from a therapist, families can learn to overcome challenges, strengthen their bonds, and create a healthier and happier home environment.
